NATIVE GARDENING

Botany

We are here to prove native can be just as beautiful (or more beautiful!) then using introduced plants. Native does not mean limited choices, in fact it means you will likely see more birds, bees, and beneficial bugs making your yard their home, which only adds to the beauty! Vermont alone has 2800 species of plants, most of which are flowering plants but also include conifers, ferns, grapeferns, clubmosses, horsetails, quillworts, spikemosses, and bryophytes—mosses, liverworts, and hornworts. Certainly no shortage of choice!
